Patrick and Christie's Wedding
September 24th 2011
Off to the wedding we go! We got to spend a nice night out dressed up all fancy. Aiden slept over at Grandma and Papa's house. The wedding was nice, we got to talk with a lot of Greg's university friends. The food however was less than nice! Chinese 10 course meal, four and a half hours, all seafood = no food, no fun for Ally. Oh well! Greg took me out to a yummy bubble tea place afterwards and we had passion fruit green tea with lychee jelly and sweet potato fries (which never came) but it was still fun.
Blowing Dandelions
September 28th 2011
On our way to the park, Aiden noticed a hill with many dandelions. He promptly started picking them and blowing them into the wind. Some were very difficult to blow all the little seeds off alone, so Mama helped.
At the park, Aiden climbed the ladders all by himself. He wanted to climb on top of the monkey bars where a little boy was sitting. Much to his disappointment, Mama and Greg gently informed him he was too little to be up there all by himself. Aiden passionately told us he is "not a baby, I a big boy".
Aiden also demonstrated his sweet and caring personality yet again with his concern over a little girl who looked sad and was being carried around by her older sister. Aiden wondered if the girl was hurt so I encouraged him to ask her. Aiden bravely went over and struck up a conversation asking if the little girl was ok, but sadly they didn't respond and just walked away. We decided they must have been shy and it is always nice to try and be friendly since we like it when people are friendly with us.

Milton Fall Fair 2011
We went to the fall fair Sunday September 25th 2011. Aiden was very enamoured with the poultry tent. He loved looking at all the prized hens and roosters. He walked back and forth browsing and appreciating the birds for 10-15 minutes. Mama couldn't stand the odour and quickly waited outside.
The tractor pull event was going on in the meantime and was incredibly loud. Aiden was scared of the loud engine noise and went for cover under Mama or Greg's hands. After we had a snack, we went to the petting zoo! Aiden loved the baby goats and even petted the smallest one! (Don't worry Grandma, there was a hand-wash station, soap and sanitizer).
After seeing all the craft and vendor exhibits we made our way back to the car. Within a few minutes the little boy was fast asleep.
